Kajian Literatur: Efektivitas Antiseptik Yang Mengandung Chlorhexidine Gluconate Terhadap Bakteri MRSA

Latar Belakang: Chlorhexidine gluconate merupakan antiseptik yang sering digunakan untuk mencegah penyebaran infeksi karena luasnya cakupan tersebut dalam membunuh bakteri. Antiseptik ini juga beberapa bakteri MDRO, salah satunya MRSA. Akan tetapi, seringnya penggunaan dikhawatirkan dapat meningkatkan resistensi MRSA terhadap chlorhexidine gluconate. Objektif: Studi bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas dengan kandungan strain Metode: Kajian literatur naratif menggunakan artikel hasil pencarian Google Scholar dan PubMed kata kunci “Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus”, “MRSA”, “Anti-Infective Agents, Local”, “Chlorhexidine gluconate” diterbitkan 10 tahun terakhir (2010-2020), Bahasa Inggris. Artikel tidak bisa didapatkan secara lengkap literature review dieksklusi. kemudian dinilai critical appraisal checklist dikaji. Hasil: Hasil menampilkan 355 artikel, dimana 345 dieliminasi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi eksklusi, sehingga 8 artikel. Delapan ditinjau terdiri dari empat studi terkontrol acak, dua laboratorium, satu uji hewan, observasional. Kesimpulan: Penelitian mendapatkan Lima melaporkan bahwa menurunkan prevalensi MRSA, walaupun menyatakan penurunan signifikan. Tiga lain adanya sensitivitas gluconate, terutama pada isolat diidentifikasi memiliki gen qacA/B atau smr.
